Created under exile by K and Sai, founders of the Myanmar Peace Museum, Constellation of Complicity exposes the global machinery that keeps dictatorships alive. Within two days of its opening in Bangkok, the Chinese Embassy intervened to silence it. The attempt triggered public outrage and freedom of expression movements in Thailand after Reuters reported the censorship, followed by the BBC, The New York Times, and over seventy international media outlets.

Both curators, already wanted by Myanmar’s junta, were later targeted by two additional regimes due to this exhibition. Their work makes visible what authoritarian powers work together to conceal: the traffic of weapons, propaganda, surveillance, and silence across borders.

To present Constellation of Complicity is to continue an act of resistance. The Myanmar Peace Museum now seeks partners and spaces around the world to keep this story visible.
